This flashlight has many positive attributes. It's bright, small, lightweight and has plenty of options. I like the multi functions of the two buttons (one button and a flipper) so it's easy to use, not having to remember how many times to double press and hold, etc. The only negative is that when it's in my pants pocket, it gets turned on since the buttons are pointing down. Sounds like a personal problem but it's annoying.
I've had my Klarus E! for close to 2 years now and it's been in my pocket or in a bag for every single one of those days since I got it. I recommend this flashlight to everyone who asks about it and I couldn't be more secure in my recommendation. The flashlight is compact, but still sizeable enough to get a good grip on it. The light is blindingly bright, but also can run in its "moonlight mode" of about 2 lumens (if iI remember correctly from the manual). It's survived drops from rooftops onto concrete, several accidental loads of laundry, and a non-intentional swim in a river. The battery lasts me several weeks of constant usage, and with spare batteries running a reasonable $15 or so, this little light could carry you through all kinds of situations for extended periods of time. All in all, this flashlight receives my highest praises and the stamp of approval from another satisfied customer.
The designers really put some evident thought into this torch. The dual tail switch is a brilliant ergonomic feature — in an emergency you can instantly activate the strobe with the paddle or activate the turbo mode with the button. If you use the tail button to start in turbo, the paddle can be used to incrementally step down the intensity. I can perform this action even while wearing heavy gloves. Note that if you don’t like this “tactical” mode that I have described, you can easily reprogram the torch to operate in “outdoor” mode, where the on button starts in low mode and the paddle steps the light increments UP. Note: Do not be put off by the odd-appearing tail switch. You’ll get the hang of it in a couple minutes and you’ll appreciate the excellent engineering.
This is an amazing flashlight. The double button is very useful and easy to use. The lumen modes are ar at good levels. Have the 100 as low is bright enough to use at most times giving it long Battery life. I'm very satisfied with this flashlight. The only flaw or dislike is the pocket clip being on the light side so you have to flip it out of your pocket for the button to be at your thumb. I tryed putting the clip on the other side it stayed but you can't call it secure
